Overdrive Hotel is a clone of the DOD FX50 Preamp, which is very similar to the 250 Preamp/Overdrive. In addition to hard clipping diodes to ground after the opamp, there are also soft clipping diodes. The second half of a dual opamp was used to buffer the bypass, so I’ve used the second opamp to buffer vref.
History time: this was my first DOD pedal and the only 250 variant I’ve ever owned. A friend named Kyle gave it to me, I beat it up and the switch broke. This was before I even considered repairing a pedal so I trashed it. This is one of many regrets and maybe why I’ve built so many 250 variants.

Make a customer account at taydaelectronics.com
Select a 1590BB enclosure in whatever color you like. We recommend yellow like the movie poster. Add the 1590BB ENCLOSURE CUSTOM DRILL SERVICE to your cart. Add the 1590BB ENCLOSURE FACE UV PRINTING SERVICE to your cart.
Go to the Tayda Box Tool Dashboard and login.
Click the HELL IS REAL TAYDA DRILL TEMPLATE above and save.
Download the HELL IS REAL TAYDA UV PRINT TEMPLATE above.
Navigate to the UV Print Templates tab in the Tayda Box Tool Dashboard and click: +New UV Template.
Name the UV design.
Select enclosure type 1590BB.
Select box side Side A/Face.
Check the box: My Design has a CMYK Color.
Check the box: My Design has RDG White Spot Color.
DO NOT select gloss, there is no gloss layer in the art file.
Upload file.
Order the case, etc.
You will need to return to the TAYDA BOX TOOL DASHBOARD and add the drill file and art file to the “JOB” listed under your orders.
